Premier Tech is pleased to announce that its Environmental Technologies Group is now established in India.
The creation of Premier Tech Aqua (PTA) in India will allow Premier Tech and its wastewater treatment technologies to accelerate their penetration of this emerging market. PTA, of which Premier Tech will hold 74% of the shares, is founded in collaboration with Indian partner, The Malani Group.
The rapidly expanding Indian wastewater treatment market adopted Premier Tech’s technologies several years ago. PTA becomes the exclusive partner of the integrated offer of products and services from Premier Tech's Environmental Technologies Group, an internationally recognised leader in the field of decentralised wastewater treatment technologies for residential, commercial, community, and industrial sectors.
This strategic initiative enables Premier Tech to continue to meet the expectations and requirements of the markets it seeks to serve, while making sure it offers, on a local scale, a line of products and services that satisfies the needs of its customers through qualified and experienced Indian team members.
Premier Tech, via its Industrial Equipment Group, has been present in India for nearly 10 years. “Over that period, the Malani family has accompanied us in both increasing our manufacturing base and the deployment of a strong commercial network. With the creation of a joint venture with them in the environmental field, we make use of this experience to accelerate our penetration of the Indian wastewater treatment market,” said Jean Bélanger, Premier Tech’s president and chief operating officer.
