What is the Solido Smart?
The Solido Smart is a sewage treatment plant designed and manufactured by our team at Premier Tech Water and Environment.
The system uses sequencing batch reactor technology — SBR for short. That might sound complicated, but it simply means it treats wastewater in timed cycles.
Each cycle aerates your wastewater, feeding microorganisms that break down organic matter. The result is treated water clean enough to discharge to a drainage field or a nearby watercourse.
The Solido Smart is a single, self-contained unit. It does not require a separate septic tank.
Is phosphorus an issue?
We offer the Solido Smart +P where nutrient neutrality is a planning condition or environmental requirement.

Inexpensive and quiet to run
The Solido Smart aerates wastewater in timed bursts rather than running continuously. This simple design feature keeps both energy consumption and noise levels low.
Most models use less than 1 kWh per day. At current UK energy prices, that adds up to less than 27 pence a day or less than £100 a year.
The system's air blower operates at between 35 and 45 decibels — about the same as a quiet library or a gentle whisper. Whether you're sitting outside on a summer evening or hosting friends, you won't be reminded that your sewage treatment plant is doing its job in your garden.

The right tank size for your site is based on your number of bedrooms — not the number of people currently living in your residence. That's the standard under British Water Flows and Loads guidelines, and it applies to all off-mains systems in the UK.

We do. Our team designs and manufactures the Solido Smart, and we handle everything from installation through to commissioning. One company, responsible for the whole job.

What does owning the Solido Smart involve long term?
The Solido Smart is a low-maintenance system, but it does need an annual service and periodic tank emptying.
We offer both services ourselves. As the manufacturer, we know the Solido Smart inside out, we hold all parts directly, and if you ever have a warranty question, you deal with us — not a reseller or a third party.
A routine maintenance visit starts from £150 + VAT. We also offer annual service plans for added convenience.
